Experience

Katherine Blok joined the firm in September 2010 as an associate in the Environmental & Toxic Tort practice group after completing a clerkship with the Hon. Heidi Willis Currier in the Law Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.  Kate was a summer associate in the firm in 2007 and 2008, working in the general liability department.

As a law student, Kate was a judicial intern to the Hon. Rachel N. Davidson in the Law Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey and a legal intern in the Office of the Essex County Counsel. Kate also worked in the Civil Litigation Clinic of the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice and served in the Student Bar Association.

Prior to law school, Kate was a journalist with publications including The Times of Trenton and The Express-Times of Easton, Pa., where she covered New Jersey government and politics. Kate also served as legislative aide to State Senator Bob Smith of Middlesex County.

In addition to the practice of law, Kate is an active volunteer to a national women’s leadership organization, Delta Gamma.
