Brooke focuses her practice on the defense of civil matters, including automobile liability, personal injury, and premises liability. She represents individuals, businesses, and insurers in negligence-based claims and her work includes case research, drafting, and case preparation throughout all stages of litigation.
Before joining Hoagland Longo, Brooke served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable M. Susan Sheppard, A.J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Atlantic County, Civil Division. In that role, she conducted extensive legal research and analysis, prepared memoranda summarizing case law and statutory interpretation, and reviewed pleadings, motions, and briefs to assess legal sufficiency. She also assisted the Court in drafting opinions and orders and managed the docket and scheduling of civil matters.
During law school, Brooke gained extensive experience through multiple internships and clerkships. As a Legal Intern with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, she assisted with environmental enforcement and environmental justice matters, drafting verified complaints, discovery requests, and legal memoranda. She also served as a Legal Extern for the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps, conducting legal reviews for base operations and preparing proof analyses. In addition, Brooke was Vice President of the Environmental Law Society, participated in Pro Bono Estate Planning, and served on the Rutgers Women’s Rights Law Reporter.
Additionally, Brooke served as a Law Clerk supporting attorneys in cases involving personal injury, domestic violence, employment law, and estates and trusts. She also has experience as a Court Reporter.
