Joshua is an associate in the firm’s General Liability Department. He focuses his practice on personal injury defense, automobile defense, as well as the representation of tractor trailer operators, commercial freight owners, freight forwarders, federal motor carriers and self-insured trucking companies, private fleet operators, and various other professionals and entities involved in transportation both on land and at sea.
Joshua is a member of the Middlesex County Bar Association, Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, Young Professionals in Transportation and the Maritime Law Association of the United States.
Prior to joining Hoagland Longo, Joshua served as a Law Clerk to the Hon. Andrea I. Marshall, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Monmouth County, where he gained practical experience on civil litigation matters that helps him today litigating throughout New Jersey and New York.
Joshua received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. While in law school, he spent a summer interning for a large international firm and spent a semester studying international transportation law at the China University of Political Science and Law (中国政法大学) in Beijing. Prior to law school, he spent four years in China working and studying Mandarin at Nankai University (南开大学) in Tianjin. Before moving to China, Joshua obtained his B.A. from Kent State University.
Beyond his legal practice, Joshua is a die-hard Cleveland sports fan, after growing up in the Cleveland area. Joshua is also a proud father and can often be found spending the weekend at various aquariums and zoos with his young daughter.
