Nabila is a member of Hoagland Longo’s General Liability practice group with a focus on matters involving premises liability, dog bites, automobile liability, contract and indemnification issues, and trucking and transportation matters. Nabila brings more than a decade of litigation experience to the firm’s General Liability practice group and has represented individuals, businesses, and insurers against personal injury claims throughout all phases of litigation. Drawing on her extensive background as trial counsel on hundreds of liability cases, she manages a case from its early stages through trial, including handling all aspects of written discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, mediations, and court appearances. Nabila also utilizes her substantial litigation experience to help clients navigate complex issues that arise before and during the litigation of personal injury matters. She fiercely advocates for her clients, approaching each case with meticulous preparation and a thoughtful strategy to obtain favorable outcomes for the firm’s clients.
In addition to her expertise handling complex civil litigation matters, Nabila has experience handling insurance coverage disputes in first-party coverage cases. She has specifically worked closely with insurance carriers to defend them against UM/UIM claims and has defended carriers against bad faith claims. She has also counseled carriers with regards to coverage determinations and litigation strategy. Additionally, she has experience in appellate practice and has written several appellate briefs to achieve successful decisions in favor of her clients.
Before joining Hoagland Longo, Nabila worked in prestigious defense firms and clerked for the Honorable Sheldon Franklin, J.S.C. She is an accomplished legal writer whose work has been published in several professional journals.
