Valentina focuses her practice on matters involving general liability, premises liability, automobile liability, insurance coverage, and bad faith litigation. She defends individuals, businesses, and insurers across a wide range of industries, helping to develop practical, solution-oriented strategies to respond to civil claims and mitigate legal exposure.

Before entering private practice, Valentina served as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Domestic Violence Unit and as an Assistant District Attorney in Richmond County, New York. In these roles, she handled cases from initial complaint through trial, gaining extensive courtroom experience and a strong foundation in litigation strategy, legal research, and advocacy. Her background in criminal prosecution informs her approach to civil defense work, particularly in managing complex and high-exposure matters.

Valentina earned her Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 2020, where she was awarded the Advocacy Program Certificate and named to the Dean’s List. During law school, she contributed to the CityLaw Journal and completed the Criminal Prosecution Clinic with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. She received her Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude in Criminal Justice from St. John’s University in 2017.
