Veronica is a part of Hoagland Longo’s Employment & Labor and Municipal practice groups, and works on matters involving workplace disputes, public entity liability, and related litigation. Her work includes legal research, drafting, and case preparation to support the defense of employers, municipalities, and government officials.
Before joining the firm, Veronica served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Andrea I. Marshall, J.S.C., in the Civil Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. In that role, she conducted legal research, drafted orders, observed trials and hearings, and facilitated mediation conferences.
While in law school, Veronica served as Staff Editor and Articles Editor of the Vermont Law Review, participated in the Advanced Appellate Advocacy program and Moot Court Advisory Board, and earned recognition among the top third of Appellate Advocacy oralists. She also gained hands-on experience through internships and clinic work. In these roles, she assisted with family law matters such as drafting motions and settlement agreements, and worked on real estate transactions involving contracts and mortgage processes. She also represented clients in an immigration law clinic and interned with a prosecutor’s office, where she prepared legal memoranda and observed proceedings across several criminal divisions.
