Jalessa Lenise Almonacy is an Associate in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation and Employment and Municipal Litigation Department. Jalessa represents employers and employees in resolving issues related to workers’ compensation. Jalessa also represents public entities, officials, and employees in Title 59 and civil rights actions, including excessive force, wrongful arrest, and malicious prosecution.
Prior to joining the firm, Jalessa served as a judicial law clerk for Honorable Robert E. Brenner, J.S.C., where she gained experience with various issues in civil litigation, including premises liability, general negligence, contracts and product liability.
Jalessa received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kean University in Media and Film. She obtained her J.D. for the University of Massachusetts School of Law, where she was President of the Black Law Students Association and an Associate Editor for the UMass Law Review.
