Tristan focuses his practice on general liability matters, including personal injury defense, automobile liability, premises liability, and property damage. His work includes legal research, drafting, and case preparation in negligence-based claims involving individuals, businesses, and insurers.

Before joining Hoagland Longo, Tristan served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Glenn C. Slavin, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part. In that role, he researched and drafted court orders and memoranda, reviewed submissions from parties, observed motion hearings and emergent applications, and mediated negotiations between parties.

Tristan also gained experience as a summer law clerk at a California firm, where he handled workers’ compensation defense matters, and earlier as a recruitment professional in the construction sector, where he developed organizational and client service skills. These experiences, combined with his clerkship, provided a foundation in litigation procedure, case evaluation, and effective communication that he now applies in his practice.
