Dawn Marino is Of Counsel in the firm’s Professional Liability & Malpractice Group, Product Liability Group, General Liability Group, Probate and Estate Administration and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Group.  Dawn’s practice consists of defending a wide range of high exposure, complex litigation matters in the areas of product liability, medical malpractice, public utility liability, construction liability, general liability and LAD (Law Against Discrimination).  In addition, Dawn handles litigation involving Will contests and probating estates. 

During her career, Dawn has successfully defended corporations, public utilities, hospitals, physicians, nurses, rehabilitation facilities and other allied health care providers at all levels of litigation including trial, mediation and through the Appellate Division.  Dawn is currently defending multiple claims totaling $46 million that arise out of a massive fire that occurred at the Seaside Park Boardwalk.  Dawn has also provided clients with in-house presentations to employees concerning risk management, legal trends and other healthcare related issues.

Dawn received her B.A. from Montclair State University and her law degree from Seton Hall University of Law.  After law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Yolanda Ciccone of the Law Division, Superior Court of New Jersey.  She is admitted to the bar in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court of New Jersey.  She was selected for inclusion in the New Jersey Super Lawyers "Rising Stars" list from 2007-2010.

Dawn is active in her local community and involved in fundraising efforts for the non-profit organizations, Ryan’s Quest, which works to increase awareness and raise research funds for Duchenne muscular dystrophy and Joey’s Little Angels, whose mission is to provide financial and emotional support for families with children undergoing medical treatment for serious illnesses.  Dawn is a member of the Grice Middle School PTA, the Hamilton West Football Boosters and sits on the Board of the Hamilton West Baseball Boosters.
