Marc D. Mory is Of Counsel to the firm’s Employment and Municipal Litigation Departments, where he represents employers and employees in a wide range of employment matters, including those made under the Conscientious Employee Protection Act (CEPA), as well as claims of harassment, hostile work environment and discrimination under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination (NJLAD).  He also represents public entities, officials, and employees in claims related to Title 59 and in civil rights litigation involving, claims of malicious prosecution, false arrest, and excessive force.    

A seasoned litigator with over two decades of experience, Marc has handled a wide range of matters on behalf of public and private clients in both New Jersey State and Federal Courts.  Prior to joining Hoagland Longo, he also gained experience regarding partnership and other business disputes, the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and banking law.  Marc is adept at counseling clients and their employees on all stages of civil litigation, from case management pre-suit through the preparation of pleadings and motions, conducting all facets of discovery, mediation and arbitration, to trial and appeal. 

Marc earned his law degree at Hofstra University School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal, and received his B.A. degree from Brandeis University.  He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
