Chad Moore and Dawn Marino Successful in Appellate Division
On July 21, 2017, the Appellate Division upheld the trial court’s decision in Dennis White, Administrator Ad Prosequendum of the Estate of Dafiq Rasheed v. James Astacio, Sr. and Doris Astacio. The case involved claims of wrongful death and survivorship after the decedent died in the defendants pool. Partner Chad Moore originally argued the motion for Summary Judgment in the underlying case before Judge Gibson in the Superior Court of Atlantic County. In that case the court ruled that the defendants were not negligent as a matter of law. Plaintiff appealed the decision arguing that there were issues of fact and that the standard applied by the court was incorrect.
