Jeffrey Czuba Prevails in Automobile Liability Case

On February 22, 2019 Jeff Czuba completed a four (4) day trial in Middlesex County.  The case arose out of an automobile accident that occurred in March 2016.  Plaintiff had been traveling East on Main Street in Woodbridge and was stopped in traffic when the defendant struck plaintiff’s vehicle in the rear. Plaintiff filed a motion for summary judgment prior to trial on the issue of liability which was granted finding that our client was one-hundred percent (100%) liable for the cause of the accident.  The case was tried on the issue of damages alone.  As a result of the accident, Plaintiff alleged that he sustained disc herniations at L4-5 & L5-S1 and a disc bulge at L3-4, sprain and strain of the cervical, thoracic and lumbosacral spine, nerve root compression and left upper and left lower extremity radiculopathy, as well as aggravation of pre-existing conditions.  The jury rendered a verdict in favor of our client finding that plaintiff did not prove that he sustained a permanent injury caused by the accident.
