Hoagland Longo Achieves Mansfield Certification for 2024–2025, Marking Fifth Consecutive Year
Hoagland Longo is proud to announce that we have once again achieved Mansfield Certification, as reported by Diversity Lab. Mansfield is a year-long, structured certification process that we have committed to since 2020 to help ensure that all attorneys at our firm have a fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership. This milestone represents Hoagland Longo’s fifth consecutive year of Mansfield Certification, with recognition earned each year from 2020 through 2025.
This achievement reflects our ongoing dedication to embedding fairness, transparency, and accountability into all aspects of talent development. The Mansfield framework helps ensuret hat historically underrepresented attorneys are proactively considered for leadership roles, client opportunities, and professional recognition, while reinforcing clarity in advancement and succession planning.
We are proud to stand with more than 360 Mansfield Certified firms nationwide advancing a shared goal: creating leadership in law that is more inclusive and reflective of the profession’s full talent pool. By embracing Mansfield, we continue to strengthen our leadership pipeline, build teams that reflect the diversity of our clients and communities, and uphold a workplace where all attorneys have the opportunity to thrive.
Hoagland Longo has already committed to the 2025–2026 Mansfield Certification cycle, continuing our dedication to this important work for the future of our firm, our clients, and the legal profession.
About Mansfield Certification
The Mansfield Rule is named after Arabella Mansfield, who in 1869 became the first woman admitted to practice law in the United States. Inspired in part by the NFL’s Rooney Rule, which requires teams to interview at least one minority candidate for open leadership positions, the Mansfield framework is designed to diversify law firm leadership through measurable, sustainable change.
