Joseph V. Leone is a Martindale Hubbell® AV-rated senior associate at Hoagland Longo and concentrates his practice in the areas of construction, general liability, and transportation law. He has extensive experience in litigating complex and substantial construction defect claims and professional malpractice suits against architects and engineers.   His practice includes defense of claims for construction defects, construction site personal injury, design defect, contract disputes, and professional malpractice. He is regularly called upon to manage and litigate construction defect suits and professional malpractice claims on behalf of his private clients and those in the insurance industry through resolution in alternative forums for mediation or arbitration. Mr. Leone also provides non-litigation services such as preparation of contracts, contract review and risk management counseling. Mr. Leone’s practice also includes defense of various companies for general liability claims and the litigation of commercial contracts, commercial and non-commercial auto/truck negligence, product liability, premises liability, and wrongful death claims among others.  Mr. Leone’s practice also focuses on the representation of various transportation and trucking companies throughout the country.  His services include pre-claim investigations and complete defense of claims for negligence and coverage issues.
