Anthony is Chair of Hoagland Longo’s Transactional Practice Group and a member of the firm’s Executive Management and 401(k) Committees. A Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional, he brings a sustainability-conscious perspective to his practice, which focuses on commercial real estate, corporate transactions, municipal government, and redevelopment. He is widely recognized for advising both private and public clients on high-value real estate and redevelopment matters, with particular strength in structuring projects that support revitalization, infrastructure investment, and long-term planning goals.
In his private practice, Anthony represents clients in the acquisition, sale, and financing of commercial properties and businesses. He handles every phase of the transaction process—from deal structuring and negotiation to due diligence, title and environmental resolution, 1031 exchanges, and closings. His corporate work includes franchise acquisitions, entity formations and restructurings, and loan workouts. His leasing and financing experience helps clients navigate a wide range of real estate and business objectives.
Anthony is also active in the public sector, advising municipalities, redevelopment agencies, and local government departments. He guides major redevelopment and land use projects, working closely with developers, engineers, financial consultants, and regulators. His work includes drafting and negotiating redevelopment agreements, PILOTs, infrastructure funding contracts, and shared services arrangements. He brings a hands-on approach to public-private partnerships and represents clients at public hearings through the full approval process.
Recognized for his excellence, Anthony has been included in The Best Lawyers in America (2023–2025), named a New Jersey Super Lawyers “Rising Star” (2007–2010, 2012), and honored as one of the New Jersey Law Journal’s “Top 40 Under 40.” A former collegiate soccer player, he now enjoys coaching his children and spending time outdoors with his family.
