Juliann Alicino and Kristin Gummoe Lead CLE Programming at NJDA Annual Convention

At the New Jersey Defense Association’s 59th Annual Convention, Partner Juliann M. Alicino and Associate Kristin Gummoe represented Hoagland Longo with key contributions to the event’s CLE programming.

Juliann served as moderator for the panel titled “Combatting Plaintiff’s Trial Tactics,” leading a high-level discussion among experienced litigators on practical strategies to counter plaintiff-side techniques in the courtroom. Under her leadership, the panel explored evolving topics such as trial technology, jury strategy, and evidentiary challenges. Her role as moderator reflects her expertise as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney and her continued impact on trial advocacy in New Jersey.

Kristin Gummoe, a member of the Young Lawyers Committee of the NJDA, participated in the 2025 Civil Case Law Update presentation. This CLE session highlighted key appellate decisions shaping the civil defense landscape. Kristin’s involvement showcased her growing leadership within the defense bar and her commitment to staying at the forefront of legal developments.
