Bill is an associate in the firm’s General Liability Department, where he focuses his practice on the defense of civil matters, including automobile liability, premises liability, and construction-related claims. He has extensive litigation experience, including conducting and defending depositions, arguing motions, participating in mediations, and second-chairing a civil trial through verdict. He is actively involved in all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation through resolution.
In addition to his general liability practice, Bill represents clients in a broad range of family law matters, including custody and parenting time disputes, post-judgment motions involving alimony and child support, and other domestic relations issues. He also represents clients in business disputes, providing strategic counsel through negotiation and litigation involving contractual disputes and other complex commercial matters.
Prior to joining Hoagland Longo, Bill served as a law clerk to the Hon. Thomas M. Comer, J.S.C., in the Monmouth County Superior Court.
During law school, Bill served as Vice Chair of the Moot Court Board, Symposium Editor of the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal, and treasurer of the Rutgers Entertainment, Arts, and Sports Law Society. He was a semi-finalist in the 2022 Cohn Appellate Advocacy Competition. Additionally, he gained practical experience through Rutgers’s Education & Health Law Clinic and internships with the New Jersey Attorney General and Rutgers Law Associates.
