Nicole is a member of the firm’s employment and municipal practices, where she represents both public entities and private employers in a broad range of legal matters. As an experienced litigator and trusted advisor, her practice includes employment litigation, workplace investigations, compliance counseling, and risk management for employers across various industries, as well as commercial litigation.

Nicole has significant legal experience representing employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in all aspects of employment litigation. Her experience includes defending claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. She also handles restrictive covenant matters involving trade secret misappropriation, confidentiality agreements, and other post-employment obligations.

In addition to her litigation work, Nicole advises public entities, business owners, and HR professionals on compliance with employment laws and regulations. She counsels clients on employee discipline and termination, hiring practices, workplace policies and procedures, employee classification issues, disability accommodations, leaves of absence, and wage and hour compliance. Nicole also drafts a variety of employment-related documents, including employee handbooks and policies, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, separation agreements, restrictive covenants, and confidentiality agreements.

 Nicole provides anti-harassment and anti-discrimination training to employees and conducts internal workplace investigations into claims of discrimination, harassment, and other employment-related issues. She earned her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and holds a B.A. in English and Sociology from The College of New Jersey, where she graduated cum laude.

Employment Litigation

  • Represents both public entities and private employers in workplace disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and hostile work environments
  • Defends against wage and hour claims, whistleblower actions, and breach of employment agreements
  • Brings and defends claims concerning violations of restrictive covenants, such as non-solicitation agreements and non-compete agreements, and trade secret misappropriation
  • Litigates claims of unlawful discrimination based on race, sex, disability, age, pregnancy, religion, and other protected categories

Employment Counseling & Compliance

  • Conducts internal investigations into employee complaints involving discrimination, harassment, and other workplace misconduct
  • Provides anti-harassment and anti-discrimination training to employees
  • Advises employers on issues concerning employee discipline and termination, employee hiring, necessary workplace policies and procedures, employee misclassification issues, disability accommodations, leaves of absence, and wage and hour issues
