Malcolm I. McPherson is a partner in the firm’s General and Automobile Liability Department, where he defends private individuals and commercial entities in matters involving claims of personal injury, automobile and premises liability, insurance coverage and contract/indemnification disputes, and risk management. An experienced litigator, Malcolm has obtained numerous favorable trial verdicts on behalf of his clients. He is Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, a distinction bestowed upon less than 2% of attorneys who demonstrate an efficient level of knowledge and skill in the field of civil trial practice, satisfying the standards of the U.S. Supreme Court and American Bar Association. He has also obtained favorable results in numerous arbitration hearings in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Since 2020, Malcolm has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by New Jersey Super Lawyers

Malcolm earned his Juris Doctorate from Penn State Dickinson School of Law. Upon graduation, he clerked in the Atlantic County Superior Court for the Hon. Jeffrey D. Light, J.S.C. from August 2011 – August 2012.  Malcolm subsequently served as an Assistant County Counsel in Atlantic County, where he provided legal counsel to several county departments. He also assisted in preparing and reviewing legal documents and represented the County and its employees in matters of civil litigation.
