Ayanna Countee will present a three-part series on trial readiness titled “Trial Ready: Civil Case Prep Like Suits.”
This in-depth continuing legal education program is designed for newly admitted and early-career litigators. This three-session series will guide participants step-by-step through the essential phases of civil trial preparation, offering practical strategies to strengthen real-world litigation skills.
Across the series, Ayanna will cover effective case strategy development, including how to craft a compelling narrative, identify case strengths and weaknesses, and align discovery with trial objectives. She will then explore deposition practices, focusing on preparation, fact development, and effective witness examination techniques. The program concludes with trial execution, providing guidance on jury selection, courtroom presentation, trial technology, and delivering persuasive openings and closings.
CLE credit is available for each session, and registrants will receive access to both the live presentations and on-demand replays.
