The matter arose out of a lawsuit for personal injuries whereby plaintiff alleged a permanent injury to his spine and his wife filed a claim for loss of services of her husband.  Plaintiff was involved in a prior accident with similar injuries.  Plaintiff alleged he could no longer perform his activities of daily living and his relationship with his daughter and wife were affected by his injuries in the new accident.  After a short jury deliberation, a verdict was returned in favor of Defendant finding Plaintiff did not sustain a permanent injury and no monies were awarded to Plaintiff or his wife.
