Honorable Bradley J. Ferencz, Counsel to Hoagland Longo, was recently appointed to serve as a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Family Law Executive Committee (FLEC) for the 2018-2019 year.
Judge Ferencz was also appointed to Director on the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators’ (NJAPM) governing board for the 2018-2019 term. In addition to being a member of the governing board, Judge Ferencz is a member of the steering committee for NJAPM’s 25th Annual Conference to be held on November 17th.
The firm congratulates Judge Ferencz on his new positions.
Hon. Bradley Ferencz also recently led a new CLE lecture and workshop in New York City at Maria Riboli acting studio. Maria Riboli, a professional actress, director and acting coach, presented a workshop for lawyers. Judge Ferencz used his unique perspective as a judge of almost twenty years to relate Ms. Riboli’s presentation to trial work. The ICLE Presentation – From Opening to Closing was well received. Demeanor, position, and even arm movement and eye contact were analyzed during the seminar. The objective was to help lawyers be more believable and credible to juries and judicial fact finders. Success is often related to a jury’s perception of counsels’ honesty and integrity.
Judge Ferencz is a frequent moderator and lecturer at various CLE lectures at NJICLE, the Middlesex County Bar Association, and the New Jersey Judicial College. He has presented multiple lectures on motion practice, discovery issues, criminal sentencing and family law matters.
