Brian Chabarek and Marc Gaffrey To Speak at the NJDA Annual Convention

The New Jersey Defense Association (NJDA) will be holding their 48th Annual Convention June 26-29, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay in Cambridge, Maryland. Marc Gaffrey, Supervising Partner of the firm's Environmental & Toxic Tort LItigation Department, will give an Environmental Law Update session focusing on "The Next Asbestos: The Smoking Lung Cancer Claim" which he recently had published in the Spring edition of the NJDA newsletter. Brian Chabarek, a Partner in the Labor & Employment Law Department, will cover “Recent Developments in the Law Against Discrimination” during the employment law update session of the program. In addition, Supervising Partner of the Workers' Compensation Practice Group, Michele Haas, will end her successful yearlong presidency of the NJDA at the President’s Reception and annual installation of Officers on Saturday evening.

The conference educational programs will be held on Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28, and offer 6 CLE credits, including 1 Ethics credit.
