Thomas Leyhane prevailed in 5 week medical malpractice case.
In a very serious medical malpractice case, the Plaintiff claimed that a nurse employed by Tom Leyhane’s client – a local medical center – failed to appropriately communicate her findings suggesting that a patient suffered from a post-operative stroke to the attending physician. Tom argued successfully that the nurse correctly reported her findings. The jury concluded that the nurse did nothing that caused the stroke suffered by the Plaintiff and the surgeon who was suspected of being at fault for failing to respond to her report was exonerated.
