Robert F. Hagans, III

Robert F. Hagans, III is an Associate in the firm’s General Liability Department.
Prior to joining Hoagland Longo, Robert was an Associate at a small plaintiff’s firm in Montgomery County, Maryland working on workers’ compensation cases.
Robert received his B.A. from George Mason University and his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. Prior to attending law school, he worked as a Paralegal with a Medical Malpractice Defense firm in Northern Virginia.
While in law school, Robert interned with the United States Department of Justice working in its Civil Division. He also served as a Judicial Intern in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia for the Honorable Gerald Bruce Lee. During law school, Robert spent a summer as a law clerk with a mid-sized full service law firm within its general liability practice. Additionally, he worked as a student attorney for The George Washington University Law School’s Clinical Program for its Public Justice Advocacy group where he represented clients who could not afford counsel in minor civil litigation claims such as wage and hour disputes, consumer protection claims, and unemployment insurance cases.
