Rasheedat O. Sulaimon

Rasheedat Sulaimon is an Associate in the firm’s General Liability Department.
Prior to joining Hoagland Longo, Rasheedat worked as an Immigration Attorney for a boutique immigration firm in Newark, NJ where she handled family-based immigration matters for foreign nationals.
Rasheedat served as law clerk to the Honorable Janetta D. Marbrey, J.S.C., Civil Division, Mercer Vicinage. As a law clerk, she examined a wide variety of civil litigation issues as she managed the judge’s motion calendar. Additionally, she regularly facilitated settlements between litigants in Small Claims Court.
Rasheedat received her B.A. from Cornell University and her J.D. from Rutgers Law School. During law school, she worked as a student attorney for the Rutgers Law School Immigrant Justice Clinic where she represented low-income immigrants and victims of crime in various immigration matters.
While in law school, Rasheedat interned at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General’s Division of Law in the Employment Litigation Section. She also served as judicial intern for the Honorable C. Darnell Jones II, United States District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
