Robert Helwig Wins at Trial

Partner in the firm, Bob Helwig wins at trial in Middlesex County Superior Court

Bob Helwig, a senior partner in the firm's general litigation department, received a "No Cause of Action" jury verdict after a three day trial in Middlesex County Superior Court. 

The automobile accident giving rise to the lawsuit occured in 2007 when the defendent, our client, rear ended the plaintiff.  The plaintiff claimed to have sustained neck and back injuries due to the accident and that physical therapy and medications were unsuccessful in treating him.  He ultimately underwent surgery to repair the damage.

Bob successfully presented testimony establishing that the injuries to the plaintiff were degenerative in nature and the jury found that the plaintiff did not sustain permanent injury as a result of the accident and awarded verdict for the defendant.
