Jeffrey Czuba Wins Trial

On Friday January 13, 2012, Jeffrey Czuba, a partner in the firm, completed a four day trial before Hon. Joseph Rea, J.S.C. in Middlesex County Superior Court in Wynne v. Sprowls. The matter arose out of a September 2008 motor vehicle accident in Woodbridge, NJ The accident occurred when our client struck the rear of the co-defendant’s vehicle pushing it forward into the rear of plaintiff’s vehicle which was stopped at a red light. Summary Judgment as to liability was granted in favor of the co-defendant and trial proceeded on the issue of damages alone. At trial, Plaintiff alleged that she sustained a permanent injury to her spine due to the car accident.  After approximately one hour of deliberation the jury unanimously found that Plaintiff had failed to prove that she sustained a permanent injury proximately caused by the accident affording our client a positive verdict at trial.
