Glynn J. Dwyer, Jr., Partner, Andrea Mackaronis and Brian McFadden-DiNicola, Associates in the Family Law practice area, have been trained and certified in the practice of Collaborative Law. As a new and growing area of alternative dispute resolution, collaborative law provides a vehicle for divorcing parties to negotiate cooperative settlements with the assistance of counsel, as well as financial and mental health professionals. Unlike litigation, collaborative law allows the parties to go through the process on their own schedule, and also affords them the control and the ability to craft creative solutions which are more typical of mediated agreements. However, both parties have the assurance of an attorney present to both advocate their respective positions and to advise of the relevant laws of the State of New Jersey as it pertains to their divorce. If you have any questions about collaborative law and if it is right for you, please contact Glynn J. Dwyer, Jr. for more information and to set up an initial consultation at no charge.
