Andrew Kessler Becomes a Community Emergency Response Team Member in Marlboro, NJ

Andrew Kessler, a Partner in the firm, was recently a part of the Marlboro, NJ inaugural certification program for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).  Andrew was one of 10 volunteer residents that completed the program and will now be available to assist others in his neighborhood or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help.  CERT members also are encouraged to support emergency response agencies by taking a more active role in emergency preparedness projects in their community.  CERT, which is recognized by FEMA and the Emergency Management Institute (EMI), trains its members in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations through training in the classroom and during hands-on exercises.
