Brian McFadden-DiNicola To Be Honored By Women Aware
03.28.2012Middlesex County-based Women Aware Inc. will host its second annual "Moving Beyond Abuse Awards and Awareness" breakfast at 8 a.m. on Thursday, March 29 at the Pines Manor, 2085 Route 27. Attorney in the Family Law Department, Brian McFadden-DiNicola will be honored for his work in providing pro bono legal assistance to victims of abuse.
Others being honored include Middlesex County First Assistant Prosecutor Julia McClure; state Sen. Barbara Buono, D-Middlesex; Madeline Cook, executive director of the Edison Housing Authority; Women Aware Board of Directors member Ella Mae Mitchell; Syracuse University activist Ashlee Newman; Diane Palmer, vice president of the Women Aware Board of Directors; Middlesex County Sheriff Mildred Scott; philanthropist Sandra Soriano; Lisa Von Pier, director of the New Jersey Division of Prevention and Community Partnerships; and Phyllis Adams, executive director of Women Aware.
The breakfast will highlight the organization’s effort to raise awareness about domestic violence and the comprehensive services provided to women and families in Middlesex County. For more information on this organization, visit www.womenaware.net.
