Four Attorneys Are Now LEED Accredited Professionals

07.02.2009

The firm is proud to announce four of our attorneys are now LEED Accredited Professionals

Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst & Doukas, LLP is proud to announce that four of our attorneys have passed the LEED exam and are now LEED Accredited Professionals, certified by the Green Building Institute.  LEED AP is a credential for those who demonstrate an advanced knowledge and understanding of green building practices and the LEED rating system, which ranks a building's "green" level. Our congratulations go out to:

  • Anthony Iacocca, Partner in the Real Estate and Transactional practice group.
  • Richard Gaeckle, Senior Associate in the Construction practice group
  • Jacob Grouser, Associate in the Environmental & Toxic Tort practice
  • Vincent Carita, Counsel in the Construction practice group and a licensed Professional Engineer

Headed by Partner Lawrence P. Powers, the firm recently formed a Green Building practice group of which these attorneys play significant roles and seek to serve the construction, municipal, environmental and real estate industries.  The green building industry is expected to grow 60% in 2009 alone and the market may more than double by 2013. The LEED Accredited attorneys at Hoagland Longo give our clients a distinct advantage in confronting the multitude of legal issues presented by this emerging market.
