Michele Haas named Vice President Central Region of the Board for the New Jersey Defense Association

Michele Haas, Senior Associate in the Workers' Compensation practice area of the firm, was recently appointed as Vice President of the Central Region Board for the New Jersey Defense Association (NJDA).  In this capacity, Michele will be active in deciding how NJDA will utilize their resources and improve member relations.

The NJDA establishes a communication link among New Jersey defense attorneys, insurance claim professionals, self-insurers and other corporations who devote a substantial portion of their time to the defense of damage suits or to claims administration.  The association sponsors educational seminars, a quarterly newsletter and an annual convention. NJDA has also intervened in the Appellate Division as amicus curiae when the issue involves an important defense related topic.  In addition, special education programs and training are offered through such vehicles as a Trial College to build upon members' knowledge and keep them current.
